Recent years have seen a barrage of new rules and regulations in the Finance sector. There are good reasons for these being in place. Guernsey must be seen to have a well-regulated environment \u00a0to attract high quality business to the Island and maintain our position as a top flight international finance centre.<\/p>\n
What we must ensure is that we have a balanced regulatory environment in order that our Finance industry maintains its competitiveness globally.<\/p>\n
I want to see that open and active dialogue exists between the regulator, government and industry in order that we continue to have a strong and resilient Finance Sector.<\/p>\n
